• Thank You, Neutrogena

Neutrogena has always been on the top of my beauty list and this product is pretty incredible. The Neutrogena® ‘s Rapid Wrinkle Repair™ line is amazing, a few of my friends have also tried it and saw visible results in a week.

It’s super silky and feels great on …not greasy like some other moisturizers I’ve used in the past. Also, I really needed something that would brighten my skin and this did the trick. HUGE fan!

  • Neon, Neon, Everywhere

We saw neon on the runways, we are seeing it on all the major celebs and all over the streets, so how can you rock this fabulous trend?

Bold hues are a must-have, that is for sure. Try an electric yellow clutch for just a pop of color, or throw on a tailored neon blazer for a more sophisticated look.

Of course, it’s all about accessories, jewelry is a great way to incorporate this trend into your rotation. Try a shocking pink, statement necklace- pair it with a casual white t-shirt and jeans… and your outfit is instantly transformed.

  • Giuliana & Bill Rancic Talk Love & PDA

Can’t get enough of these two, the E! star and her hubby BIll sat down to chat about National PDA Day. They were very candid and told me, they love to take walks together 3 nights a week to reconnect, (so adorable).

They power couple also gave me the scoop on their baby boy and said they plan to raise him in a very loving, affectionate environment. Sounds good to me!

  • 2012 Billboard Music Award

Absolutely loved the BBMA’s this year…hosted by two of my favorites from ‘Modern Family’ – this year’s show was much more entertaining than in the past. All the hottest musicians were there at the MGM Grand, Adele was a no show… but of course, still swept the awards. The tribute to Whitney Houston was pretty unbelievable, I may have shed a tear or two, don’t judge :).

The “Biebs” snagged the “Top Social Artist” award and opted for a laid back look on the carpet…he brought one of his biggest fans as his date (not pictured)… thought that was pretty adorable.

Robin Thicke looked SERIOUSLY handsome on the carpet and inside he introduced Kelly Clarkson-who showed a darker side when she performed her new single on stage.

Now… Miss Cyrus, what can I say? There was a ton of buzz about Miley’s outfit…a neck plunging, white, Jean Paul Gaultier blazer, sans pants. I don’t HATE it but I think pants would have been a tad more appropriate.

  • Museum Glam: 2012 Met Gala

The Costume Institute Gala, held at New York’s Metropolitan Museum is commonly referred to as the “fashion Oscars” and the stars did not disappoint this year. It was hollywood glamour all the way.

This is by far one of fashion’s biggest nights…celebs from the music, film, art and of course, fashion industry were out in full force. All flaunting their designer garb, swoon.

Marc Jacobs is everything, but when he showed up in this number, he took risk taker, fashion icon and all around fabulous, to a whole new level. Of course SJP rocked it as usual in a more demure look…and Kirsten Dunst opted for a ’40’s inspired sheath.

  • It’s Skin Cancer Awareness Month: New FDA Guidelines for Sunscreen

New FDA guidelines make you check your sunscreen twice! What are they saying? Make sure the label says broad spectrum–which means that it protects against UVA and UVB rays evenly, make sure it has at least an SPF of 15 or higher (50 will now be the highest) since there is no research that proves an SPF greater than 50 will work more efficiently. What else?  Sunscreens must say “water resistant”, not  “waterproof.”

L’Oreal Paris Dermatologist, Dr. Gervaise Gerstner  shares her top tips for protecting yourself against skin cancer.

1–Choose a sunscreen  with SPF 30 or 50 and apply it every 2 hours. Use a timer or app on your phone to remind you to reapply!

2–Use a shot glass full of sunblock to ensure you’re wearing enough.

3–If you have children—let them have some fun–dab a dollop on a makeup brush and have them go to town on their own.

4–See your derm yearly for skin cancer screenings.

5–Stay out of the sun from 10am-4pm, when sun is the strongest.

6–Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses if you do have to venture out.

  • Green is a Beautiful Thing

Not a fan of these April showers, thankfully I am starting to pack for a much needed vacation this weekend. Hitting the beach, which is pretty much my favorite thing to do, although preparing…not so much. Seriously, I’ve gone through countless razors, looking for a good one, decided to try Schick® Xtreme3® it has a flexible, triple blade which makes for a really smooth result. Best part is, they came out with this eco-friendly razor, Xtreme3® Eco™ 100 % recycled plastic in it’s handle, and 100 percent post-consumer paper for  packaging.

Loving it, bring on the beach!

  • Quick Way to Keep Allergies at Bay

I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely noticing the affects of allergy season…itchy eyes, stuffy nose and of course the non-stop sneezing! Something I just learned was that on a peak pollen day, a large t-shirt can trap up to 7 million pollen grains within a 24 hour time period. Bleh! Then you’re bringing that pollen right into your home when you walk inside. So a great tip to keep the pollen away is to wash your clothes frequently, especially if you’re outside a lot. That’s definitely my plan this spring, so I’ll be doing a lot of washes.

Removes 99% of Spring's #1 allergen, tree and grass pollen in every wash
