  • Get The Look: Golden Globes Glamour To Go!

Award season is on, lovelies! It’s that time of year when we look to the red carpet for a one-stop lesson in all things trending, and the Golden Globes did not disappoint! We’ve got the lowdown on the go-to gowns and glorious glows our fave stars rocked. First up? The fashion.

With endless cuts and styles, one color had a standout night: ravishing red. Jennifer Lawrence, Claire Danes, Marion Cotillard (the list goes on…) all made major statements in the bold hue.

Another favored shade? White. And there was nothing basic about it. We’re talking sparkle and flash! Heidi Klum and Hayden Panettiere are two shining examples of how embellishments can jazz up winter whites in a major way.

Next, the skinny on the skin! Old Hollywood glamour made a comeback — natural tones, understated make-up and flowing side-sweeps all nodded to an updated yesteryear, as did the exception to the minimalist rule — those pouts a’poppin’ in deep wine and coral red stains (think va-va-voom, not vampy.) And everyone went for the glow — we saw healthy shines all over, from cheekbones to wavy locks, right down to the stems!

We got a look at two ready-to-wear gowns we swear we saw right on the carpet, both available at David’s Bridal! And how about these for prep-time pro-tips: Wash with super-gentle Cetaphil® for a no residue, all radiant finish. And if you draw attention with a dark lip, make sure those pearly whites are gleaming — Crest 3D Whitestrips do the trick in just 2 hours! Find both at your local drugstore.

Last night the stars came out for the 2012 Teen Choice Awards. Here are a couple of my favorite shots from the carpet. Um, and can we discuss the fact that No Doubt is releasing their new album in September? Ya, pretty psyched about that.
